Set up your store

The settings to make before your first listing: eBay site, supplier, eBay policies, AliExpress, margins and stock.

Updated October 4, 2026

Everything is set in the Settings module. Price, stock, template and policy settings belong to the selected eBay site: if you sell on several eBay sites, set up each of them.

Store

  • eBay site: the site you sell on (France, UK, Germany or USA).
  • Default supplier: Amazon (recommended) or AliExpress (beta).

The Copy this market's settings to another button copies every setting of the current site to another site. eBay policies and template assignment are not copied, because they belong to each site.

The Forget listed products button, at the top of the settings, is for when your eBay listings were deleted: the extension forgets the products remembered as already listed on the displayed marketplace (or on All marketplaces), the "Duplicate" badges disappear and these products can be listed again. Do not use it while your listings are still live: you would publish duplicates.

eBay policies

These are the payment, return and shipping terms applied to every listing you publish. They are required to publish.

Create your policies on eBay

If you have not done it yet, create at least one payment, return and shipping policy in the selling policies of your eBay account.

Fetch them in the extension

In eBay policies, click Fetch policies. Stay logged in to eBay in Chrome while they are fetched.

Choose which ones to use

Select a Payment policy, a Returns policy, then a shipping policy for Amazon products and for AliExpress products. Without an AliExpress policy, the Amazon products policy applies.

The item location of each listing is set from the services of the chosen shipping policy. With domestic services (USPS on eBay USA, Colissimo on eBay France…), it is set in the market's country. With services shipping from abroad or from China, it is set in the supplier's country. If eBay refuses that location, the extension automatically tries your eBay account address, then the market's country.

AliExpress account

Only needed if you sell AliExpress products: the connection to the official API is used for price and stock tracking and for automatic orders. Click Connect, allow access in the AliExpress window, and the status changes to Account connected, with its expiry date. Before that date, click Reconnect to extend access.

Price, quantity and tabs

Settings are split into four tabs: Titles, Bulk listing, Tracker and Competitors.

  • Quantity per product: the stock shown on each listing (3 by default).
  • Parallel tabs: number of tabs opened at the same time, from 1 to 5. More tabs are faster, but put more load on the browser.
  • Margin by supplier: your markup. With the Global markup, the eBay price is the supplier price plus the chosen percentage (100% by default for Amazon, which doubles the price). The Variable markup by tier applies a different margin depending on the purchase price.

The margin in the Tracker tab is used to realign the price of existing listings. It follows the listing margin as long as you do not change it; the Copy to Tracker button aligns it at any time.

Variations, search and protected brands

  • Variant listing: by default, variations (color, size, model) are published in a single multi-variation listing. Turn on Single variation to publish simple listings. Max variants / product limits the number of variations (0 = unlimited, eBay accepts 250 at most).
  • Product hunter: price range, concurrent pages, products kept per title and Banned keywords. Banned keywords apply to every eBay site and to both suppliers.
  • VeRO list: brands protected by the eBay VeRO program are automatically excluded from searches and listings. Click Update to reload the list.
